The North Carolina Hematologic Malignancies Symposium 2026: Evidence-Based Updates and Clinical Decision-Making in Lymphoma, CLL, Myeloma, AML, and MPNs is a one-day, CME/CPD-accredited educational activity that also offers Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points, designed to provide clinicians with timely, evidence-based updates in the diagnosis and management of hematologic cancers, including lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).

This interactive symposium features case-based discussions, clinical debates, and expert-led panel sessions focused on real-world decision-making across the continuum of care. Faculty will review emerging clinical trial data, evolving treatment algorithms, and current guideline recommendations, with a focus on precision medicine, targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and novel treatment strategies.

The program is designed to address practice gaps in therapeutic selection, sequencing of therapies, incorporation of molecular diagnostics, and management of treatment-related toxicities. Through structured sessions aligned with ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence, this activity ensures fair balance, scientific rigor, and independence from commercial influence.

By participating in this activity and completing the required evaluation components, learners will be eligible to earn CME credit and applicable MOC points, supporting continuous professional development and improved patient-centered outcomes in hematologic oncology.

As a leader in global oncology, we have partnered with local government and health organizations in Nepal to operate the only cancer hospital in Madhesh Province, deliver cervical cancer screenings, provide nurse training, and establish the first bone marrow transplant center in the country. In India, we have partnered with government institutions to establish hospice and palliative care programs in Madhya Pradesh. We are beginning construction in 2024 on a comprehensive 200-bed cancer center in Janakpur, Nepal that will dramatically improve access to cancer care in Nepal and surrounding communities.
