About Binaytara
Binaytara Foundation (BTF) is a leading global oncology 501(c)(3) nonprofit, dedicated to reducing cancer health disparities around the world. Founded in 2007 by Tara Shah and Dr. Binay Shah, our mission is to improve access to cancer care, enhance continuing medical education (CME), and foster implementation science research in hematology and oncology, thereby reducing the global burden of cancer.
As the largest cancer conference organizer in the US, we impact thousands of doctors and oncology/hematology practitioners who attend our conferences to stay current on cutting-edge treatments for their patients. BTF is an accredited CME provider committed to improving patient outcomes through high-quality, independent CME activities for physicians, pharmacists, and nurses. As a leader in global oncology, we have partnered with local government and health organizations in Nepal to operate the only cancer hospital in Madhesh Province, deliver cervical cancer screenings, provide nurse training, and establish the first bone marrow transplant center in the country. In India, we have partnered with government institutions to establish hospice and palliative care programs in Madhya Pradesh. We are beginning construction in 2024 on a comprehensive 200-bed cancer center in Janakpur, Nepal that will dramatically improve access to cancer care in Nepal and surrounding communities.
